Hello class,

I am going to make this write-up short and sweet because I know that very few people are actually going to read this seeing as double systems exams is just over a day and everyone has better things to do, whether it be cramming heme malignancies, trying to figure out the different viral causes of hepatitis, or like some figuring out how long it would take to pay back the med school debt if you just decided to throw in the towel right now and take up a career as a personal shopper. We all know the job of class rep involves a lot of work and not that much glory. ALthough I would get to put a fancy PHASE B REP and the bottom of all my emails, I know that the time and effort that it will take far exceeds the benefits. Having said that, I think that I have made quite an effort over the past year getting to know all of you, and I would love to be the person you can come to with any type of concern, question or just to chat with if something is wrong. I am willing to colour coordinate your emails and try and pump up the class spirit any way I can:). So having said that, get  back to studying and make sure you get a good sleep, eat properly for the next couple days, and make sure you take study breaks (Youtube is great for that).

Good luck on thursday everyone.

Also shout out to Karl's Angels 4-0 and perfect defensive record. You ladies inspire me.

I am perfect for this position for several reasons.  First, I have years of experience.  Not just because I'm real old.  I also spent a lot of time on various councils in my youth.  I was a class rep for 2 years in engineering physics and 1 year in computer science.  In addition to that I was VP athletic for the physics student society for one year and the academic rep for one year in physics as well.  Going way back to last millennium I was the SRC president at my high school.  Currently, I am the student rep for the Saskatoon Medical Curling Association which is turning out to be the best Sunday evening entertainment since Disney movie night on CBC.  As an engineer I worked on many teams and I know how to communicate with my peers and the people in charge to effectively deal with the big issues.  So in summary...

I've worked on big teams and I can get the job done.  I can't rhyme as well as Erin but I promise we'll have fun.

I'm Nick Vassos and I would love to represent the class of 2013 for phase B. This year has been full of changes, and while it is still a work in progress, we need to address our concerns to make our next year and a half the best it can be. As class rep, it is important to be approachable as it is the rep's job to represent the class on many topics and ideas. I think I am very approachable as I am probably the least intimidating person in our class! I am also very motivated to help fix some of the issues we have been having with clinical scheduling, missed lectures and confusion about how we are actually being evaluated. I want our next year and a half to be as stress-free as possible as we already have enough to worry about. Thanks for reading and vote for the little guy!

Equally HILARIOUS CLASSROOM NOISE GRAPH!

Hey team,
Jason generously donated his time to make this hilarious graph for your pleasure.
Enjoy!

AMAZING GENETICS GRAPH

Hey team,
Christine in our class made this important analysis of our genetics class for us! WOOOOOO!

NEW BLOGGER NEEDED!

Hey Crew,
So as you may have heard, I am a little busy now with the SMSS, and as such Lucky13 is hiring!
What does this mean?
1. You get a $5 gift card to Starbucks
2. You work for a whole year doing the blog for basically free
3. You get to write and say anything you want- except you really can't because you might offend somebody

So, if you have great ideas for the blog, have too much time on your hands or just want a place to post interesting things, please inquire within (aka, come talk to me)

I've had fun doing it, and I know I will miss ranting about things, but I'm sure there will be somebody else very capable out there!
Signing off,
A-TOM
