Helpful links for Cardiology

Hey Team,
A couple of people have sent me some information and links that I thought I would share with you to help with studying!  Also remember, crying is a natural process in studying....it is only after you become dehydrated and electrolyte depleted from such crying, that true understanding of concepts can take place.

Access Medicine:  Use your NSID to access these texts on CV:

Yale Medicine: This is a link that is very thorough on Cardiothoracic Imaging

ECG Explained: This one on ECGs is courtesy of Cassie, and she found it very good in explaining ECG Leads.

Blaufuss:  This one explains cardiac heart sounds.  Courtesy of Nico and Tanner.

3D Heart:  Do you have trouble visualizing things in 3D off paper?  Then 3D heart is for you!  This site give a relatively basic heart, but will help you visualize it front-back.

CV concepts PDFs:  These pdfs are from a CV concepts textbook.  They come very highly recommended from the upper years!  These pdfs are freely available online, so we don't have to worry about copyright issues! Woot!
Here is a link to all of the documents online
This is a summary of the chapters:
