1. IFMSA Montreal Theme Development Team
Message from Bev <beverly.wudel@cfms.org>
For those of you who haven't heard, the CFMS in partnership with IFMSA-Quebec is hosting the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations General Assembly (IFMSA GA) in Montreal in August 2010. With this comes many great opportunities for Canadian medical students to participate in organizing an international meeting with 800+ medical students from more than 80 countries around the world.
Interested? Want to get involved? Great, cause we need your help! Attached is an email from Amena Ghumman, the Theme Coordinator and a student at Memorial University. She would like to get a representative from each medical school in Canada on the theme development team - the U of S rep could be you! Please contact her asap if you are interested.
If you are looking for other ways to get involved in the meeting, please send me an email so I can keep you in the loop. I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, so I'm hoping to set up a meeting with interested students in early January, before things get into full swing.
Cheers,
Bev
