2. SMSS Climate Change letter to the government

Hello everyone,

Members of the SMSS and CFMS Environmental Working Group have been working to put together a strategy for med students to fight climate change. We all know the environment we live in has a direct impact on our health and the health of our patients. I believe this is an issue that we can all stand behind as health care professional. Attached is a letter that we will be sending to the Minister of Environment and other politicians to voice our support for fighting climate change. There will also be media involvment and a real chance to make a difference. Please review the letter, and if you have any comments or concerns, feel free to email/talk to me or your class reps.

Thanks, and have a great day!

Cheers,

Lei Xia
President, SMSS
