Greetings!
The Center for Education in Family and Community Medicine
at Stanford Medical School has partnered with the Qinghai
Tibetan Traditional Medical College to offer a Traditional
Tibetan Medicine medical student elective in the Tibetan
Amdo region, China. Our first 3 years of participants had
terrific learning experiences and we hope to make the next
elective even better. We will be offering the elective this
coming summer from July 26th to August 20st, 2010 (4 weeks
total). Academic credit will be offered through the
Stanford Medical School Center for Education in Family and
Community Medicine for both pre-clinical and clinical
students.
Please find attached the application form, or e-mail
phuoc@alum.dartmouth.org for an application. Applications
are due on March 1st, 2010. Phone interviews will be
conducted the week of March 1st, 2010, and students will be
notified by March 8th, 2010.
